Hi, I’m Deepak Kale. 

I have bought and sold more than 100 properties for myself over the last three decades. These included family houses, off-plan apartments, period Victorian houses to refurbish, land, commercial and retail units, offices and student accommodation. 

I sold my first flat when I was 15 years old and still at school – the rest really is history! It is a passion that’s turned into a livelihood. I want to share what I have learnt by helping others in Cambridge find their dream house or get the best deal on one they have found. 

It’s taken me 25 years, with lots of tears, but I’ve mastered the art of sourcing amazing houses and negotiating fantastic deals. I’ve also learnt how to overcome every conceivable hurdle and problem a buyer will face.

To buy a property at the best price you must establish and understand its true value using evidence-based analysis. At Savvy Property Buyer we are not led or influenced by the asking price, which is often the best guess of the selling agent or what the seller wants or believes it’s worth. It is because so many properties have inflated asking prices that 30% eventually get reduced before selling.

I’ve managed to secure discounts on almost all of my property purchases. Many buyers don’t negotiate for fear of being rejected or losing the house. Others are simply too polite to ask or don’t have the confidence to negotiate with a professional selling agent. It has taken me decades to understand how to source and secure property at the lowest price so I fully sympathise with those who may only purchase two or three houses in their lifetime, just accepting the asking price and what the selling agent tells them.
